Six Flags and State Parks

I have been to six flags in october ,the rides were simply amazing.Although regretted Mr freeze devoiding me of my specs :(, neway still I enjoyed the rides. I started visiting State parks with Mark and It is an enjoyable experience to walk on the trails looking for vegetation and scenic points to take snaps of.
But strictlyspeaking (no offense intended for Texas), There are lot of comparable and even better locations which we neglect in India, searching for something better, but perhaps being in US is an ultimate dominating factor for that place to be admired in a better way, now I am a bit more enthusiaistic for visiting untouched Indian parts, yeah I had never been to Delhi /Agra.
Wish I would retain the same enthusiasm.

Diwali in Austin

This was the first time in my 26 3/4 years of life span that I missed Diwali, but I had the opportunity to talk with my family on phone,so It was not very painful to miss the occasion, although I certainly missed enjoying crackers and Sweets of diwali, so I went to the Indian Store located at burnett via bus, even after having the Dodge caravan , well this is the price you are supposed to pay if you don't possess Insurance :),so ultimately we had Rasmalai on Diwali, then there was a celebration in Barsana Dham on the next weekend, Desire to eat Indian food can make you crazy in USA, all of the guys made sure that they reach the venue in time so that the dinner prasad is not missed ;), Yeah this weekend I had a train journey courtsey of one of my highly enthusiastic friend, it reminded me of Avantika express that runs between Mumbai and India, oops I forgot a significant difference , the ticket was 30$ which is 3 times I pay in India.
This Diwali came with a bit of neglection from Goddess lakshmi , lost around Rs 26000 in F n O ie $550 aagain courtsey of one of my childhood friend. So a ,ot of learnings prior to new year, I hope to get the damages recovered by 2010 ;).

My NYC and Niagra Trip

This is the first time in my life that I went to such an exiting trip, NYC is simply amazing , It's like a whole different America inside the America, The Vibrant yet planned streets , thousands of people roaming across the streets where rows of buildings are constructed in the same way as if they are local houses built adjacent to each other in an Indian colony, no where in the world you will find such a great Manhattan skyline. Each of the Sky scrapper seems to compete with each other for achieving the glory of being at Zenith. The number of Indians roaming around is so much that I apparently started to feel if I landed back to India :), We went to Statue of Liberty , The Empire state , Times Square , It was so lively event at 1 AM that one can easily fall in the delusion of assuming night as morning. The Crowd and locals are equally vibrant and helping, it seems to me that unfortunate events of 9/11 taught a lot to yankees about the fragility of human life. The only thing that was a bit pinching is the living cost, everything is so costly and if that cost is in $s then people will surely be called spendthrift :), but then it's New York , There is a different spirit which run across the perimeter of the city which can be felt only by some one who is physically there to feel that.

After 3 days of touring in NYC (unfortunately we were yet not into any museum and central park and brox zoo and the list goes on......), we went to Niagra , and It's not exaggregation to say that if NYC is a modern wonder then Niagra is a natural wonder, we took the Maid of the mist tour and Caves of the wind, both were amazing , the falls at the American and Canadian border are simply amazing, the one at Canadian side which is called Horse shoefall is more beautiful as it carries 90% of the water, while american falls have 10% of the water falling at the george.
Both of the falls are illuminated by different colorful lights which create an awesome scene at the Night, the sound produced by the falling water seems to carry a special kind of music,I just loved it, So that's all from this trip after spending $750 which are really worth while and utilized , I prefer to remain in the hibernation mode as far as spending is concerned :).

Confused...

Will tell u abt a guy, who is quite ambitious, he likes to be in competition and win in every front of life, but that doesn't happen , he loves to compete with his fellow companions whether it be any elementary field like managing household chores or sophisticated providing technical Solutions, and whenever he feels that he is lagging behind in any of them , it causes him to feel low ,but he really never understand how that happens, when he comes to the root he find that he is lacking batole baaji, that is xtra talking and lack of proactiveness towards activities and his wheatish complexion, for example there is a scenario which occurs before him in which he faces rejection from a girl, and another event in which he is supposed to take care of some person , that person becomes more homely with the other guy who has just come into his/her life , this events tries to make this guy loose his confidence that whether he is really having any special capabilities to go that xtra mile, to stand out of the crowd, he thinks hard for that particular field and found that probably he is lagging behind the world in a sense by not adopting the ways that the other guys of his age are mastering, he never touch any Alcohol source, never smoke , his heart never feels comfortable in that fuzzy fumes that flows all over in the pubs of 6th street where gals dance with boyz in crazy manner , (it sound to me like that).
I think this is the wrong thing with this guy, he always give top most importance to his family, having seen all kind of financial hardships, he feels uncomfortable when he wastes money, coz he know that It could have been utilized better. But then it proudly provides the title of miser and spoilsport to him, he is really confused that where willl this thing gonna take him, whatever he is following, but he is always sure of one thing that he will never be able to cope up with the style that BAD BOYZ adopt and it's out of his intrest also, but at the same time he also feels that some body should realize that he is different, and just because he is not talking to express everything doesn't imply that he is so serious guy. He will never feel regret for not adopting that lifestyle of BAD BOYZ , and hopefully one day he wud be able to sing as well as implement these lines from a beautiful song,
"Gum aur Khushi mein farq naa mahsoos ho jaha
mein dil ko us mukaam pe laata chala gaya"
whether anybody consider him a looser, or the events and results slap him with failures, but he will remain neutral , that's his aim.

Back to Austin

Here I am, back to Austin after 1 year and three months, The arrival was a bit less adventurous, as I waited for my friend Vikrant on Airport and then decided to move on my own, without knowing the exact address, yes that is real me :), So took a cab and reached the apartment colony High point village, but was not able to find the apartment , finally decided to go back to Hotel , where one of my friend was already staying, I awake her at 10:30 night :) and asked the correct apartment number and went back to the high point village. Adventurous isn't it :)
Lot of other adventures are waiting in Q, as I will be here for next 10 months.
